Have you ever wondered what happens when an indecisive foodie is craving both pizza and pancakes at the same time? Well whether you have or not, you are about to find out.
Originally my plan had been to make up some pancakes, and use them like mini crusts. Thus topping them with the required tomato sauce and grated cheese.
However, I was late getting home from work so the idea of panamaking and pizza making didn’t appeal to me or my watch.
Thus I mixed all the ingredients in to the pancake batter, and crowned them pizza pancakes.
Some notes on the recipe: For the liquid I used 1 tbsp almond milk, and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar. Substituting 1 tbsp of the whey for a flour also works great!
I think I am officially a savoury pancake fan. Please tell me you will try this, and while the skillet is on, why not fry up an egg?
I even got to learn something new about myself: I don’t like runny eggs. You think being a food blogger I would have discovered that long ago!
