When I called this oatmeal, Porridge today, the kids got a kick out of it. In TJ’s best English accent he said, “Please sir, I want some more porridge.” (Oliver Twist).
But in fact porridge is exactly what it is! According to Wikipedia, porridge is oats cooked in water or other liquid. Just curious if anyone still calls it that? Anyone? Anyone?
So, we turned ours pink for a holiday Valentines post. The great thing about the color pink, is no artificial colors necessary! In fact, the entire pot was turned pink by raspberries alone.
