Nike Training Club: Serena Williams’ Core Training

Posted Jul 17 2013 12:06am

Nike Training Club is an Apple (or Droid) based app, a variety of workout routines straight from professional athletes, that can be downloaded to choose workout routines, set fitness goals, monitor calories burned, share results with others, and much more.

Serena Williams' Nike Training Club app shows the positive benefits of Core Training…….

Serena says that the reason she takes working core so seriously, is because it gets you ready for the sport you are about to do, get's you stronger, and prevents injury.

When you have good core stability, the muscles in your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen work in harmony.

They provide support to your spine and help transmit increased power and performance for just about any activity.

A weak core makes you susceptible to lower back pain, poor posture and a whole host of muscle injuries.

Strong core muscles provide the brace of support needed to help prevent such pain and injury — and this discovery is why core training has become so popular among elite athletes.

As Serena puts it, the reason she loves this type of exercising that you get via Nike Training Club, is it helps you become "strong, powerful, and beautiful".
