Happy Friday! My hubby got home at 2:00am from Las Vegas (some sort of delay) so the whole house is asleep including the dog. I am having a very peaceful moment, sipping my coffee, listening to the rooster crow and feeling satisfied from my breakfast.
It has been really hot here in Austin and I just have not been in my normal warm oatmeal mode, god forbid! This phase will pass I am sure, but I was craving a nice cold bowl of cereal this morning so I pulled out one of my favs- Nature's Path Heritage Multigrain Flakes.
Our special blend of ancient grains, including wheat, barley, quinoa and spelt are slightly sweetened with honey, evaporated cane juice; it also contains 6 grams of fiber.

I heard the Bear Naked is coming out with new cold cereals as well, that I can't wait to try. I love their granola but do not eat it as a cereal just as a topping due to calorie count.
So on the agenda today is Baby Boot Camp and then I am FREE! I am going to squeeze in a workout.... probably a 30 minute treadmill run and weights. Then this afternoon, we have a Birthday Party to go to.
Tomorrow is the Parent-Junior Golf Tournament and other than that I believe we have the rest of the weekend free.
My weight is holding steady and I have to tell you that Pudding/Vita-Top Dessert is really, really good! I am going to have to make another one tonight. I have so much dessert in the house right now it is silly, Angel Food Cake, Whole Wheat Flax Cookies, Lemon Love Bars, Banana Cake, Haagen-Daz Tart, Mango and Blueberry Cranberry Sorbet, Skinny Cow's... ahh!
