My Pizza Diet
I love pizza, it's my favorite food and I could eat it every single day and not get sick of it. The problem is that traditional diets like the ones that have always failed you tell you to stay as far away from pizza or any food you love for that matter.
Those foods are the devil. Fat and carbohydrate combined.
Here's my point of view and how I wrote the diet section of The Physique Formula.
When you are trying to lose fat, your body is looking for energy from anywhere it can get it. Your carbohydrates are lower than normal, or they should be if you listen to other diet advice, so your body feels weak.
Listen, at the end of the night your body doesn't decide if you had enough protein to build muscle or if you didn't have enough calories so you lose fat.
It's a continual process. You don't turn it on and off every 24 hours.
So I can eat really good for 5 or 6 straight days. High protein, low carbs, moderate healthy fat but then comes my weekend. I have pizza on Friday night and maybe some popcorn if I go to the movies.
On Saturday night, I can have pizza again or burgers or ice cream.
I get a mental break from dieting, I reset my fat burning hormones and I can sustain my efforts during the week to burn fat.
Don't be a robot.
