After researching the benefits of fasting, I have decided to attempt it, starting right now (Feb 9th, 2010 @ 7:13pm). My goal is to stick to my strict diet of what the food pyramid reccommends and nothing more. Ever since the Superbowl two days ago, I have been on a junk food binge.
My prediction is that if I can fast for as long, or longer, than I've been binging that I can cleanse my system, regain my health, and possibly improve it. Because right now, my digestive system is murdering me and every time I move, I have to go to the bathroom. Paired with my daily routine of yoga and deep breathing exercises, this should produce nothing but positive results.
