November is here! It is the month of giving thanks, buying birthday gifts for The Scientist, and making sure that my Christmas list is up to date. Lets get the party going!
I decided at the beginning of October that I wanted to set some goals and see how it went. Lets see how I did. Shall we?!

1. Mark two things off the 31 While 31 List.
Kind of. I marked one off the list ( making homemade pasta !) and have started one of the others, but haven’t completed it. I consider this a win though.
2. Figure out a Halloween costume for The Scientist and I that is fun but easy.
Ya buddy! Did you catch our costume in my last post? Pumpkin Pi!
3. Make it to the gym 3x each week without fail.
Uhh…no.
4. Bring breakfast & lunch to work EVERY.SINGLE.DAY.
Every day I brought breakfast and only ate out ONCE for lunch. An old friend called me to meet her for lunch and I couldn’t say no. I say that is a good reason to break a rule. Right?!
5. Figure out how to get out of Bank of America hell.
Si! Done and done. We shall see how this goes. Big thanks to Tiffany , Aimee , and Meg for the tips in the comments!
6. Read a book that does not include the name Sookie, Stephanie, or any type of vampire.
Yep! I finished the book I started a few days ago, Room by Emma Donoghue . I really enjoyed the book and was surprised at how it kept my attention. The whole book is written from a 5 year old’s point of view and was done really well!
7. Start lining up guest posts for upcoming vacations.
For sure! I have some great posts coming up and still taking anyone who is interested. Just let me know.

Ok, so the goals went GRRREEEAT! So much so that I’m doing it again.
November Goals
1. Make 1 new recipe a week. It can be my own or from one of my MANY cookbooks.
2. Read 1 non-fiction and 1 fiction book that has nothing to do with teen literature.
3. Get to the gym 3x/week. I will do it!
4. Mark off 1 item from my 31 While 31 list. Doesn’t matter which one!
5. Complete Christmas shopping. I don’t have much to buy but I want to be prepared.
6. Plan a fun birthday getaway from The Scientist!
7. Donate clothes to Goodwill. My closet is out of control and it needs help. HELLLPPP!

What is the one thing you WANT to get done this month and what is the one thing you HAVE to get done this month?
