mistake or learning experience

Posted Nov 20 2009 10:04pm
everyone is human, everyone makes mistakes, and everyone's body has it's own way of saying SOMETHING IS OUT OF BALANCE! it is our job to learn how our body speak to us and how to best respond in a loving way. Don't wait until your body has to scream for help. learn to recognize the early warning signs and stresses that tend to send our being out of balance. I myself can talk the talk but am still learning how to actively listen not cover my bodies communication signals.

just yesterday i was in my car eating a very fast lunch (as usual lately) before my shift. i ate a very large lunch. after i finished my 2 PBJ's, Greek yogurt, and whatever else i had packed i proceeded to down 5 granola bars! i was crying out for help. when i got into work i had one more that my friend had given me. This was my body calling for help. Tired, undernourished in many ways, overworked, and overwhelmed. during my shift i sat with many feelings of guilt, distraught, tidiness, i could go on forever, I even began to worry about next meals (i thought i was past this. The fitness industry is tough and i don't always know when i will get the next quick break. i find myself doing a lot of preventative eating rather than eating in response to actual hunger.
I do, however, find myself becoming more and more in touch with my physcial, spiritual, and emotional self. finding ways to stay in balance and actually doing some preventive nurturing. Nurturing myself with the knowledge that stresses will come and i want to be ready for them. i would love to finish this post, however, i'm at work and i have to go! yikes (working the desk)

I'll talk to you lovelies soon!!
