Good evening everyone! I hope you are all enjoying your Friday evening! My 2pm snack today was a giant salad complete with some spiralized yellow squash. I am totally in love with that spiralizer. Also on the salad was the normal red/yellow/orange peppers, raisins, tuna, spinach and romaine with a littleasian dressing.
I made a very fruitful trip to TJ and Henry's and am now completely stocked to make all kinds of delicious foods! The first thing I did was make a mango/avocado salsa for the remaining tilapia in my freezer. I served this with a pineapple avocado salad and threw a bit of the salsa on top as dressing. I also added a few raisins after the pic was taken.
Look for the salsa recipe on deliciously healthy. It was really tasty and delish!
Up next was some doggie play time and some actual relaxation. It was awesome! I had a little bit of my dessert version of a breakfast slushie. I make a smaller portion and add more yogurt to make it a bit more frozen-yogurty. Very delicious. It had kale, a date, half a banana, frozen mango and frozen papaya. I added some flax, half a scoop of protein and almond slivers to the top.
After dessert we took the doggies to the dog park to play and then I did 2o mins of yoga and now it is time to watch a movie with the BF! Have a happy weekend!
