To many people, pistachios are perhaps the tastiest nut around, but according to experts, they can also be prominent tools in helping to lower high cholesterol. Apparently, three ounces of pistachios a day reduces poor cholesterol levels by as much as 11.6 percent, and total cholesterol levels by about 8.4 percent. Researchers say that single handful of pistachios can provide the same amount of antioxidants you might find in dark, leafy vegetables. With a healthy diet, these yummy munchies just might be key components in helping to reduce the possibility of cardiovascular disease, which is connected to high cholesterol.

The theory is that expressing affection for people you love reduces the physical effects of stress. People participating in the study lowered their cholesterol by an average of seven points. The ones who wrote about jobs and other activities saw no change in their cholesterol levels. This sounds like a better option than meds and it?ll probably do wonders for your relationships. So whip out that stationary grab a handful of pistachios and start writing!
That's a great idea! Not only are you helping yourself, but you are making your loved one happy. Writing a love note is a good form of expression and releasing emotions reduces stress. I wonder if an email works the same way...

Actually, health and medications are very closely related to each other. We need to be aware of the consequences of the heart problems that we generally face. I am 54 year old.
