Loving My Juice Plus + Kale Super Salad

Posted Feb 04 2013 11:10pm
Good Evening and Happy Monday!

I hope everyone enjoyed Super Bowl Sunday.  I admit that I actually watched game and it was super exciting.  I also thoroughly enjoyed a serving of 7-Layer Dip and Chips and followed it up with a Kale Super Salad.

Kale Super Salad

Put kale in a large bowl.  Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.   Massage kale with your hands so it is coated with the olive oil and it begins to wilt and darkens.   Add the lemon juice, currants, pepitas, and hemp hearts, and toss.   Yum!

This salad is so simple yet so delicious.
I actually had this salad again for dinner tonight.  I am striving to add a bit more green into my diet this week and am going to whip a Broccoli Salad after I finish blogging.
I don't know if it is the warmer weather or just my body talking to me but I am craving salads again.  So look out- salad recipes of all sorts are about to be forthcoming on the blog.
The weather was amazing today,  54 and sunny.  The birds are chirping and the flowers are starting to bud.  Dare I say, it felt like spring today and it made me so HAPPY!
I am also super happy because my shipment of Juice Plus showed up and I am loving the way it is making me feel.  I am not craving SUGAR (as much) and feel like my skin is clearer.

My friend Kelli, who is the owner of Skinspot also believes that Juice Plus has made a difference in not only her own skin but her clients as well.  Check out her latest newsletter- 3 Supplements to Super Charge Your Health .
If you are intrigued and want to order some Juice Plus, just contact me or go directly to my Juice Plus website .
I can't help pimping this stuff because I really, really love it.  I haven't even told you about the Vineyard Blend yet but just think of getting and antioxidant boost!

Juice Plus+ Vineyard Blend packs the nutritional essence of nine varieties of berries and grapes -- blueberries, blackberries, bilberries, raspberries, cranberries, elderberries, black currants, red currants, and Concord grapes -- into convenient capsule form. Berries and grapes provide some of nature’s most powerful and healthful antioxidant flavonoids and polyphenols.
Okay, enough about Juice Plus for now : )   I am off to try out a new ab routine.  I always try out the exercises I am going to teach in class. Tomorrow I am teaching Yoga Sculpt and want to add a challenging yogi ab series to the sequence.
Oh and I am teaching another Juicing and Smoothie 101 class at Nourish Northwest this coming Sunday, February 10th at 9:45am.  So excited!  You can register HERE .
