Good morning everyone! This morning I had a lovely lovely breakfast slushie with some new ingredients! I am trying to incorporate more veggies, so I threw some carrots in this one! It had kale, carrots, frozen mango, frozen berries, half a nana, flax, walnuts, and a few dried cranberries. I didn't add any protein today, I was going for a totally raw breakfast! Woo. A test to see if my body misses the whey.
After breakfast we took the doggies out for their quickie morning walk then headed off to the gym. Today was an upper body day. I did three sets of 10-12 reps of the following:
I followed that up with a little balance work. I'm going to try to work on balance a little each day now to improve a bit (this is one of my weaknesses, I often fall out of tree pose in yoga), I'll keep you posted. After balance work I did 12 mins of "loosen up" cardio. Meaning I'm pretty sore/tired from athletic training last night (the trainer went sorta nuts on us last night since it was all the advanced peeps), and I just wanted to loosen up my body to prepare me for doing cardio this afternoon (unfortunately said cardio won't be zumba :( I'm so sad!).
