There are some good exercises, but most interesting is the advice that Cool J imparts from his own experience. Also he has a different outlook on a diet which I really liked. A good book.

4 Stars Wholistic approach to wellness…
The book’s focus is not on just one or two areas of wellness, but a wholistic approach commenting on mind, body, and spirit. I loved the recipes…very easy and simple ideas to make quick, but healthy meals. Exercises are very user friendly and demonstrate good form for safety. It’s obvious that L.L. has a passion for fitness and overall wellness and this book has something for all fitness levels.

5 Stars Great Way to Start Living a Healthier Life
I bought this book for the exercise and diet advice that it gave. This book got me back in the gym and working hard to get back in shape. There are excellent pictures and descriptions of the exercises. The diet has some great food choices (though they were somewhat limited for me being a pescitarian). Before the workout, I weighed 201 lb, and I ended at 188 lb after the 8 weeks. I look and feel much thinner and am definitely much stronger. I plan to continue a regular workout routine, given in the book. If you are looking for a workout plan/diet that will put you on the right path for getting into great shape this book is for you! Highly recommended!
