Yesterday, Nyssa and I went to Life Alive in Cambridge. The menu holds so many delicious meals that we decided to try a couple of things by ordering half plates to fully delve into their food.
We decided on the goddess (gf ginger nama sauce, nurturing carrots, beet, broccoli, dark greens, and tofu over brown rice), the mystic mountain (granny apples, cashews, garlic lemon hummus, shredded beets, cucumbers, sunflower seeds, mesclun greens with their gf lemon venality vinaigrette), and the adventurer (gf ginger nama sauce over corn, beets, broccoli, dark greens, cheddar, almonds, and tofu over brown rice and quinoa).
We also heard the smoothies were too good to pass up and ordered the carrot cake alive(hemp protein, cinnamon, carrot, banana, coconut ice cream, and rice milk) per the cashiers recommendation.
Not only were each of the demi’s delicious but the smoothie really tasted like carrot cake!
I think that Life Alive might be on my list of restaurants regularly – nutritious and delicious!
