The Perfect Lunch! I am such a fresh freak it's not even funny! I love when all my vegetables are washed and prepared for my busy lifestyle! When I stop home between training sessions I always whip up a great meal. Today was a large fresh salad of Romaine, Red Cabbage, Red Peppers, Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Carrots & Zucchini.
I roasted a few chicken breasts very early in the morning, with fresh Herbs & Lemon, then put aside for my meals. Of course I added a fresh Lemon from my Meyer Lemon Tree! Now that is fresh! It was so amazing! I added a fresh slice to my water too! Lemon Water is a great refreshing beverage. There are basic lifestyle habits that are important to incorporate into your daily life, and this is certainly one of them. However, I am talking about organic lemons that are tree ripened. My Tree is growing like crazy!
Another Item you might want to try is White Balsamic Vinegar, I highly recommend it. White balsamic vinegar is milder and less sweet than regular Balsamic Vinegar and is often considered more suitable for use with salad dressings, since it does not have a strong flavor that can be overpowering when used on salad greens.
