I had a lovely lazy Sunday after my very tiring run in the morning. After doing some reading it was time for a mid-morning snack. I had a mango, half a goraw flax bar with almond butter (oh my god, this combo is fantastic), and a date with almond butter (got this idea fromfitnessista's blog, and it tastes perfecto).
After snack time, I cuddled on the couch with my boogie for a while. Look how cute we are! While this was going on, I watched a movie with the BF. All involved parties dozed lazily on the couch... For lunch I had the most amazing lettuce wraps ever. Raw zucchini, yellow squash, red/yellow/orange pepper with a heaping scoop of my freshly made raw guacamole (1 avocado, 6 grape tomatoes, 1/4 of a red onion all mooshed together and topped off with salt and pepper). I want to tryGena's guacnext, it sounds so tasty! I had an almost completely raw lunch, but I did add this little bit of goat cheese for some added protein, and because it is so tasty and delish. For lunch I had a GIANT salad. This was massive, and I don't mean kinda big, I mean MASSIVE! It was also incredibly delicious. It had spinach, romaine, spiralized zucchini, a few walnuts, red/orange/yellow pepper, raisins, dried cranberries, half a nana, and I smothered it in mymango avocado salsawith a little bit of added apple cider vinegar. Now this meal was filling!
After snacking, I went and saw The Hangover with the BF. Best. Movie. Ever. It was ten thousand times funnier than expected, and I had some pretty high expectations since it was by the same guys as Old School. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to die laughing for 2 hours. When we got home, it was dinner time!!! I had a grilled portobello topped with grilled yellow squash strips and one egg + one egg white. It is sooooooooo good to break the yolk all over the portobello. I had some grilled up veggies on the side. Dessert was a raw creation I was hankering for after seeing a couple of people make some. Chocolate Avocado Pudding. There will be more on this dessert including a recipe tomorrow! I did a quick 20 min yoga download after we took the doggies to the park to play for a while and I was a bit hungry before bed, so I did another date with almond butter. Sooo decadent.
I realized upon going to bed that I did eat almost completely raw til dinner. It was rough not eating very raw on Saturday, so my body rejoiced in the rawness and asked for as much as possible on sunday! I'm definitely LOVING the raw dessert. I'm scouring the world for more recipes!
This morning I was in a very very berry mood, so I had myself a banana berry breakfast slushie.
1/2 banana, 4 frozen strawberries, handfull of frozen mixed berries, LARGE handful kale, spoonful of applesauce instead of yogurt today!, ground flax,granola, vanilla protein.
Quick doggie walk, followed by legs and abs at the gym! I did 2 sets of 15-18 reps of the following.

After my strength training, I did 10 mins fast paced on the stair climber. I also found out that Zumba is cancelled tomorrow evening :( How sad!! At least I have athletic training tonight!
My morning snack today was overnight oats, what a surprise!?! Mixed oats with water, spoonful of yogurt, spoonful of flax, scoop of chocolate protein and tons of berries. Delish as usual!
