I find myself eating a piece of candy or dessert late at night. I'm not even hungry, just sort of crave the sweetness. Does this happen to other people? I keep telling myself to stop, but it's almost like a force of habit.
I feel you.. I'm actually having one of those late-night sweetness cravings right now, having some cookies. Something I would watch for is to find a pattern - when does it occur? If it's just once in awhile, maybe your body just needs more sugar or fat that moment. But if it happens more often than what's probably for your own good, what I would personally do is eat fruit instead because it's somewhat sweet and more healthy :) .. or dried fruit
Is it possible your eating out of boredom and since it's late, your body thinks of sweets? I know this happens with me, but as Emyvel suggested, have a bowl of fruit. For added sweetness, you can add a little honey or vanilla yogurt.
