Is your purified water really safe?

Owners of purified water refilling station are enjoying their booming business. This business has been around for years. We used to drink water directly from the faucet in the past. But, things have changed; most of us do not get drinking water from the faucet anymore because tap water is not safe to drink. With a history of amoebiasis, tap water is a NO NO because the amoeba in my stomach might be awaken :D .

But, are we really sure that the water being delivered by these water refilling stations is really purified? These water refilling stations produce purified water using reverse osmosis , the most common treatment technology used by bottled water companies. I have seen some disgusting water refilling stations with unhygienic practices like employees with no hair cap and laboratory gowns and dirty and dented water containers.

Have you ever checked or inquired from your water refilling station about their latest maintenance and cleaning? I haven’t. :D But, I believe they should perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and regular filter changes. They should also dispose their dented and dirty containers, which bother me the most.

How about you? Is your purified water really safe?
