is there a recall on purina puppy chow?

i have heard that there is a recall on purina puppy chow that there is something in it that can kill the puppy is this true? what is a good puppy food to give that the puppy can continue as it grows on the same brand of dog food....... thanks alot and hope someone can help me with this
