If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know that I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) last year and found it to be an amazing experience. I especially liked the camaraderie with positive, health-minded fellow students, as well as our incredible speakers, who were a Who's Who of health experts.
Anyhow, there's some exciting news coming from IIN so I thought I'd share it here.
The Institute for Integrative Nutrition just published the book, Case Histories: The Dynamic Future of Nutrition, w hich spotlights 36 IIN graduates, who are now health counselors working to improve the health of their clients and communities.
If you're a would-be IIN student or an IIN grad or just someone interested in the power of nutrition, you'll find it inspiring to read these interviews with alumni and their clients. Essentially, the harcover book -- which includes beautiful photos -- highlights the impact health counseling has on people's lives and well being.
FYI, as the IIN press release states, its "mission is to play a crucial role in improving the health and happiness of Americans, and through that process, to create a ripple effect that transforms the health of the world. They achieve this goal through activism, public education, and a professional training program for students who want to promote the importance of healthy diet and lifestyle among their clients, loved ones and communities."
The book is published by Integrative Nutrition Publishing, a division of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As the press release explains, "The publishing division helps to spread the school’s mission beyond its student community by producing books with clear, accurate and honest information about nutrition and wellness."
Other Integrative Nutrition Publishing titles include:
Integrative Nutrition: The Future of Nutrition
The Integrative Nutrition Journal: Your Guide to a Happier, Healthier Life; and
Fast Track Workbook: Your Guide to The Business of Health Counseling.
