Inmates Want More Nutrient-Rich Food!

Posted Oct 02 2008 3:13pm

You've gotta admire the guts of these three inmates, who filed a $2 million lawsuit claiming they are not getting proper nutritional value from their meals.

"The calories and nutritional value for adults and juveniles are not up to par," the suit signed by all three men reads, according to the Courier News. "The food is served cold and most times, bread, cookies and cakes are served soggy due to wet and cracked trays. Food is distasteful and disgusting."

I wonder if the lawsuit mentions anything about whether or not the prisoners' moods and energy levels are being affected by the nutritionally lacking food!
