You may not be able to spot it, but my felony has to do with these two fellas:
The victims: Naturally Preferred Organic Honey Fiber Cereal and 365 Frosted Flakes.
The Crime: For some while now, I have been enjoying this Honey Fiber cereal, with its huge flakes and maple taste, without hesitation. Prior to this infatuation, I had a previous, and strong, might I add, relationship with those Frosted Flakes. It was love. Until I abandoned them, fleeing off into the wonderland of breakfast with those Honey Fibers. Both so delicious, and both so desirable! So what's a girl to do? Have them both. Because I'm greedy and moral-less.
The accomplices: Vanilla Soy, MaraNatha AB, and a camera shy banana.
The Verdict: Guilt as charged. The charge being DELICIOUS. ;)
Last night, I cut up a newly purchased Organic Butternut Squash from WF. I coated it with some olive oil, sprinkled it with S&P and roasted it at 400 for about 45min. Honestly, it was really hard not to eat the whole thing. I had about 4x the above amount.
We also picked up a tub of my ALL TIME FAVORITE HUMMUS (Blue Moose of Boulder) and a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. I already had a recipe to make my own pie, but I sampled this puppy and fell in love. I also made my first trip to Great Harvest. OMG. I died and went to carby heaven. They give you HUGE samples of the day's bread, which truly made my day.
Now that's beauty.
Upon returning home, I had a snacky plate with hummus and a Green Monstah!
I pretty much eyeballed all the ingredients, and it was delicious.
Pumpkin apple oats with Adam's PB spoon. Because I planned on making a smoothie, I subbed my usual breakfast banana for an small golden delicious apple. Now, this little lady has a banana EVERY MORNING. I can't have breakfast without one. I also can't eat more than 1 nanner a day. Needless to say, these oats were good... just not as good as my normal.
