Oh, it’s sad, know. I’m too lazy and impatient to make iced tea! I’ve got all these glorious health teas, with all kinds of secret benefits: weight loss formulas from odd European groceries (under the FDA radar!), detox teas, beauty herbs. But despite the calendar, it’s still very hot here. So, no quick microwave tea. The only thing I’d plausibly drink now is iced tea, but that takes some planning! By the time I figure out if I have a glass pitcher – plastic sun tea pitchers never seem to get clean – I have already moved on in my heart.
I’ve asked my husband to make iced tea for us, but he adores Turkey Hill (out of Pennsylvania), which makes a sugar free iced green tea with a trace amount of honey. This iced tea seems to have the “body” that many sugar free drinks seem to lack. My husband just swigs it out of the gallon container.
Mix 2 qts. of Crystal Light Diet Peach Tea and 2 qts of Crystal Light Diet Strawberry Kiwi. You have to dump two little packets into a gallon of water. That is it. It is the most amazing stuff-- you will love it. And since this recipe makes a gallon of liquid, your 10 seconds of prep work does not go to waste. lol
