I did an all raw day today and LOVED it. Sometimes I need a reminder that it’s the way of eating that I feel the best with. I started out with a kale smoothie-

Kale Smoothie

  • kale
  • banana
  • blueberries
  • spirulina
  • maca
  • powdered vitamin C
  • water
  • cranberry juice

Then I had a big salad (not pictured). I went on a 5 mile run (training for a half marathon). I came back ready for something great! I made a coconut-pineapple smoothie-

  • young coconut meat and water
  • pineapple
  • chard or kale
  • mesquite powder
  • ice cubes

I had great energy from that, I had a couple spirulina snacks and then came home for dinner. It was had to watch my husband eat yummy cheesy risotto, chilean sea bass and a ceaser salad…but I felt a great since of will power and follow through. I had a big salad and veggies with almond butter….and chocolate banana pudding for dessert :) 

The day was great, going to see how raw goes tomorrow!
