Wow, that was quite the massage. I chose a deep tissue massage instead of Swedish like I usually get, and, let me tell you, it was a totally different experience. It wasn’t nearly as relaxing and it hurt! But, it a good way! My muscles really needed it.
I apologize for the blah photos. I forgot my camera at home, so I relied on my iPhone, which doesn’t have the stellar low-lighting capabilities that my S90 does!

The massuse went to town on my upper back. There was so much cracking and crunching because of all of the knots. It was actually kind of gross!
When he worked on my legs, I thought I was going to die when he started massaging my IT Bands. It seriously hurt so much! I could barely stand it at time, but I’m pretty sure that my legs are in a better place now.

Before my massage, I ate a big bowl of oat bran with banana, wheatberries, and peanut butter.

I also had some iced coffee with vanilla soy milk.

For lunch, I whipped up an egg white scramble with steamed asparagus, store-bought pesto, and shredded cheddar cheese inside a pita.

And I drank a butt-load of water for much-needed, post-massage hydration.

After lunch, I satisfied my sweet tooth with some Almond Joy Ice Cream . I LOVE this stuff!

Mal, Murphy, and I are off to my sister’s house to meet her new puppy!
Enjoy your Saturday, guys!
