As a Holistic Health Professional aka Doctor of Chiropractic, our mission is to educate the public on the importance of their health and truly being aware of the signals your body sends. For instance, if you are suffering from indigestion it makes more sense to eliminate the foods that are causing the problem than it does to simply take medication after the pain begins. As a holistic health professional, our job is to heal the ‘whole’ body, so it is believed that first you stop doing the things that may be harming you and your health and replacing them with nutrients, etc which are better for you.
Your body is an amazing machine and if you pay close mind to it, it will provide signals that should not be avoided. A headache may be due to your sleep posture, your daily posture, stress or misalignment of the spine. Instead of taking medication that will relieve the pain temporarily, determine the cause and address it. This concept applies to not only your body but also your mind and soul.
