The holidays can be a very challenging time for our waistlines. There are so many delicious and tempting treats around and with the cold weather, it’s more difficult to exercise outside.
The average weight gain among most American adults is about one pound per year. Quite often, the weight is gained during this time - the holidays. One pound or even half a pound may seem unimportant but if we don’t lose it and we keep accumulating the weight, this can be a serious problem to our health and well-being.
