Healthy Weekly Meal Plan and New Printables

Posted Nov 12 2011 10:21pm

meal planning chart I had so much fun making our Thanksgiving meal last week for these two posts , that I think I’m all cooked out for awhile! If you missed the radio show where I talked with Ellen Briggs about our Thanksgiving dishes, check it out here . I can’t wait until we get to talk again!

If you haven’t already printed the healthy grocery list , check it out now!  The printable version is awesome.

Now- I have a weekly meal planning chart!   ( Also available in white.) Yeah, I know I had one before, but it was plain and boring.  This one is much more fun to use and the kids will like participating in meal planning. Take this template and fill it in with your own meals for the week!

Use your planner to organize meals using concepts from MyPlate .  Make sure:

  • Half your plate is fruits and vegetables
  • 1/4 of your meal is whole grains.
  • 1/4 of your meal is made from protein.
