Snacking on high calorie stuff is unhealthy, but there are times when you feel hunger pangs. Here are a few simple tips to help you stock up on healthy snacks. Keep them ready so that whenever you have the urge to binge, you have something healthy on hand. In addition, if you have healthy snacks during meals, you will avoid overeating during meals. Go for snacks that are high on the color factor. If it looks good, you would probably want to eat it. Take small, tender baby carrots, wash, scrape them, and store them in the refrigerator. They are bright, colorful, and make a great crunchy snack. Pick up different colors of bell peppers from the grocery store. Wash and cut them into strips for a multi-colored snack. Bright red cherries also make a great inviting snack. Finally, when you next go grocery shopping, look out for things that you can turn into healthy snacks.
