Healthy Food Review Nate's Zesty Italian Meatless Meatballs

Posted May 06 2008 3:01pm 1 Comment

Hi All,

Before those of you who do eat meat and poultry write off Nate's Zesty Italian Meatless Meatballs as a healthy food you'd try--don't!

Nate's Zesty Italian Meatless Meatballs are a tasty, delicious, high protein, low calorie comfort food choice for any serious meatball lover! Three meatballs give you 9 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber for just 90 calories with no saturated fat (I usually double the portion on weight lifting days).

Simply simmer the meatballs for a few minutes in a small pot with your favorite sauce (mine is Paul Newman's Organic Marinara sauce) and serve over your favorite whole wheat pasta. Or make a meatball parmigiana hero by placing on a whole wheat hero roll and melting fat free mozzarella on top.

Whether you go meatless all the time, or from time-to-time, you can't go wrong with Nate's Zesty Italian Meatless Meatballs as a delicious, healthy meatless meatball alternative. They are available at natural foods markets, and the natural foods section of an enlightened chain supermarket. Nate's meatless meatballs are also available in savory mushroom and classic flavors. Check them out at
