Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm late in saying it, but I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. I hope it was wonderful and you were reminded of all the things you are truly thankful for.

My day was nice. I did all the cooking, so I was a busy little bee from about 6 am on. Hubby's parents came over and we had a nice time. I ate a little too much, but overall didn't do too bad. :0)

Like the insane people we are, hubby and I tried to brave the stores at 4 am this morning to get some things we wanted for Christmas. It wasn't the sales that drove us there. Actually, the things we wanted weren't even on sale. We were just afraid that by the time the early crowds were done, there wouldn't be any of these items left. Turns out they were gone long before this morning and they didn't restock them, and we had to order them online anyway. (I lost sleep for nothing!!!) Can I just say I hate being in public for several days after Thanksgiving? I hate the pushy crowds, the long lines and the crazy, aggressive traffic. Nothing like saving $10 to make you nutso, huh? ;0)

Again, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I am very blessed. I have my children and husband, who love me more than I really deserves. I have my extended family who are such a joy to me. I have some fantastic friends, even if they do live far away. And I have you readers, who have become like family as well. Without you, I'd be twiddling my thumbs and counting flowers on the wall. You are all so special and I truly appreciate and am thankful for each one of you!
