Need a drug-free, caffeine free mood and energy enhancement?Get that pick-me-up you’re looking for without jitters, artificial stimulants or drugs. Use your HappyLight 6000 Energy Lamp in the morning, just before working out, at that late afternoon drowsy time or whenever you feel fatigued, lethargic or just out of sorts.
As much as I hate to admit it, I believe that I am affected by the lack of sun here in the lovely Pacific Northwest. Don't get me wrong, I love it here and don't want to move but do get a little "blue" when the sun disappears. Both of us had heard from many friends that they use the "Happy Light" and that it makes a HUGE difference. I just sat by it for 15 minutes and do have to say that my mood and energy seem to be "up." I will have to do a little more research and let you know if I really see a difference but I am excited to give it a try. Who doesn't need to improve mood and energy and regain focus and productivity?
So besides the Happy Light, I also picked up a couple awesome deals at Costco. I have not been to a Costco for years because I can't seem to go and not spend $500.00. Yikes! Anyhow, my hubby reinstated his Costco Card and I am "allowed" to go if I use my own debit card. Keeps you honest.
Anyhow, we took a family pilgrimage to Costco yesterday to pick up some King Crab and other delights for our Christmas meal and I found the following goodies:
Huge Bag of Hemp Hearts ( my favorite) and a Huge Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (my love)! That huge tub of Coconut oil was only $21.00! Such a great price. I love a good bargain and have to laugh because the whole family had fun going to Costco. I guess a little retail therapy is okay....
We also have been playing nightly board games together around the fire and enjoying some much needed time with Steve (my husband). Steve has been working around the clock the last month working full time and going to law school at night so it is fun to have him home. Let's just say he is definitely in the Holiday Spirit now that he finished his finals!
We have Christmas Eve party tonight and are going over to another friend's house for Christmas Day Brunch, so I need to get busy in the kitchen very soon. But first, I need to announce the winner of the SunBiotics Giveaway!
The winner of the SunBiotics Giveaway is......
Thank you for participating in this giveaway and have another one coming up next week, so stay tuned!
I have not talked about food for days and I believe that is because we have been eating out quite a bit.
We have eaten at my favorite: Laughing Planet Cafe . You can get the most amazing bowls loaded with fresh veggies, beans, brown rice and tofu with an assortment of fresh sauces. They also serve smoothies and crazy delicious burritos!
I also have made a few stops at the Portland Juice Press:
Oh my goodness, I LOVE these juices ! They are addictive and your body starts to CRAVE them. By the way, both of these places are selling gift certificates and I think they would make great stocking stuffers. Who knows, I may be getting one in my stocking: )
Anyhow, today is the day that I actually get back in the kitchen and cook. I am off to train a client and then home to do Yoga Sculpt.
Happy Christmas Eve Everyone!!!
