Happy Independence Day and Happy Trails to me!!!

My poor vehicle is toast. It is loaded down with more food and shoes than clothes. I have a cooler FULL of stuff.

  • oatmeal
  • raw peanut butter
  • protein powder
  • Amazing Grass
  • granola
  • trail mix
  • cliff bars
  • homemade oatmeal bars (these will only last about 3-4 days)
  • coffee
  • popcorn
  • vitamins
  • flaxseed
  • walnuts, cashews, pecans, almonds
  • green and white tea
  • blender!
  • travel shaker
  • cutting board and knives
  • seasonings for fresh trout

I’m no longer a slave to vending machines, gas stations, or free breakfasts that may be lacking in anything low in sugar. Plus, I won’t be in a hotel every night so I’ve got to have good clean food that will last in a room temperature cooler for two weeks.

Now as far as shoes, I’m only taking 5 pair. Hiking boots, trail running shoes, road running shoes, flip flops, and one pair of killer heels. I’m all set!

Nighty night! My next post will be from somewhere other than Alabama!!
