Yesterday, while meditating, my mind wandered and I began to feel sorry for you parents, because tonight, when your sugar-overloaded youngsters come back from trick-or-treating, they may make you frazzled, frustrated and flummoxed.

Although I gave some tips in a special, five-minute segment on WCBS-TV on Sunday (see the video here), I wanted to help you more. So I quickly put better together a panel of experts, who will devote a full half hour to help you deal with your Little Sugar Monsters.

Therefore, today you're invited to listen to our Stop SUGAR SHOCK! Radio Special, "Halt Halloween Havoc: Tips to Tame Your Sugar-Shocked Little Monsters."

If you missed yesterday's fabulous show with Dr. Mehmet Oz, who talks about his new book, YOU: Staying Young, click here to listen.

For the "Halt Halloween Havoc" show, I've assembled a fabulous panel of experts, who will help you figure out how to handle your hyped-up, sugar-shocked youngsters tonight (or any other night when your kids over-indulge in sweets). What's more, we'll help you figure out what to do afterwards with all those massive amounts of candy.

While our half-hour "Halt Halloween Havoc" show on BlogTalkRadio runs live at 3 p.m. EST, you can always listen later, at your convenience. (You may even be inspired to tune in right after your sugar-filled, trick-or-treaters come home.)

Our wonderful panel includes four dynamic women:

Now, for a little more information about our illustrious panelists:

Fly_lady_8ec4_5 FlyLady (that's Marla) runs the wildly popular motivational, support and self-help FlyLady Mentors Group (with 441,771 members as of today).

As the FlyLady Mentors Group description points out, FlyLady helps you as she "weaves her way through housecleaning and organizing tips with homespun humor, daily musings about life and love, and anything else that is on her mind."

Every Thursday at 2 p.m. EST, FlyLady also co-hosts her own popular Fly Show on Blog Talk Radio (the same home where I have my radio show).

Leeanne_ely_images_3 Marla co-hosts her show with "Dinner Diva" Leanne Ely, C.N.C., who, as noted earlier, also will serve on today's "Halt Halloween Havoc" panel.

Leanne, who is a certified nutritional consultant (that's what the C.N.C. signifies), who has been dubbed "the expert on family dinners" by Woman's Day magazine. She specializes in bringing people back to the dinner tables each evening.

As a mom, she knows and understands the dinner dilemmas facing families day in and day out, and now tens of thousands of kitchens across the world are busy creating simple, delicious meals with her weekly Menu-Mailers, freezer dinner kits, and best-selling cookbooks, which include Saving Dinner: The Menus, Recipes and Shopping Lists to Bring Your Family Back to the Table and Saving Dinner the Low Carb Way.
