Green & Black’s Organic hot chocolate recipes

I came back the other night from a 90-minute brisk walk because I wanted to be outside and not stuck inside a gym. It does happen occasionally where the idea of going to the gym doesn’t work at all for me and I usually end up going of extremely long walks.

It was a cold night and there were few people outside and the walk really cleared my mind.

Since I had a late lunch, I didn’t feel starved, but I knew I needed to eat some food (including one source of protein) or else I’d wake up at 2 a.m. starved.

It suddenly hit me that I wanted a hot cup of cocoa. I stopped by the nearest drug store on my way back home and bought 86% dark Belgian chocolate. I’ll eat the 70% dark chocolate, but I find the 86% dark chocolate makes a stronger cup of cocoa.

It’s really not that complicated to make a good quality cup of cocoa for everyday, but when it comes to celebrating in style, you can really get quite creative and fancy!

Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate has all the ingredients for hot chocolate recipes and what can I say … I just had to share them with my readers!

Now you have to remember that once you add milk to dark chocolate you negate the anti-aging benefits, but a cup of hot cocoa made with good quality chocolate is the most soothing experience and one that should certainly be enjoyed occasionally!

Here are a few hot chocolate recipes from Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate that are perfect for this time of year:
