Good Morning, Cleveland Radio Listeners of WERE-AM

Posted Dec 18 2008 8:11pm

Good morning, Cleveland radio listeners. Welcome those of you who heard me on the air with Maury Feren, host of the early Sat. morning show, "Maury's Market," on 1300 WERE AM.

Maury, a veteran radio host with a loyal following, asked some wonderfully insightful and probing questions about hidden sugars and sugar's role in such diseases as heart disease and depression.

After the interview, I was thrilled to receive some wonderful comments from Maury:

"I was just as delighted as you were," he wrote. "The interview went well. You are articulate and knowledgeable. ...You were honest and true. I wish you good luck."

Maury also said some really nice things about the book:

"I was elated to find a book so filled with positive information on our dependency on Sugar. SUGAR SHOCK! by Connie Bennett is loaded with material that every consumer should know. The stories are pertinent and powerful. They are sure to awaken the sleeping consumer. The chapter by Dr. Sinatra is an important additon to the book. Ms. Bennett has produced a classic how-to-do-it-better book on good health. It is a must- read for the ordinary individual who is looking to lead a healthier life."

- Maury Feren, Food Communication Reporter, WERE  Radio, Cleveland
