Fruity Day + Overnight Oats How To

Posted Jun 10 2009 6:43pm
My lunch today was supposed to be lettuce wraps, but i forgot my wraps... So I ate myself the filling with mymango avocado salsa. The filler was a mix of yellow/red/orange bell pepper, yellow squash and a few cashews.

Then the 2pm snackie was a delish salad with spiralized zucchini and yellow squash, spinach, romaine, yellow/red/orange bell pepper, raisins, dried cranberries, and tuna. I used a mixture of apple cider vinegar and
mango avocado salsaas dressing.

Dinner was a green monster of a slushie. I used a bunch of kale, some spinach, a little bit of zucchini & yellow squash, a little frozen mango, frozen papaya, 1/4 of an apple, and half a nana. Blend it up and add some flax, raisins and a few pecans. I had this alongside a slice of ezekiel bread with 1 1/2 egg whites and 1/4 of an avo. Delish!

After dinner, I got all my snackies ready for manana. One of which was some tasty tasty overnight oats. Here is the how to! Step 1 is to put a spoonful of 0% greek yogurt and a spoonful of no-sugar-added fruit spread.

Then add your greens (I added Kale).

Then add some ground flax (mmmmmm).

Blend it all up til it is nice and frothy.

Pour it over your dry oats.

Add a scoop of protein powder if desired.

stir it all up and add in some fruit. Let it sit overnight and it will be ready to eat tomorrow.

Feel free to skip the step of adding greens if you want regular old overnight oats with no greens.

After makin some food for tomorrow, it was off to an hour of functional athletic training and 20 mins of stationary bikin. Then it was back home to make the most amazing dessert ever!Raw Chocolate Avocado Pudding!!! Oh my god it was amazing mixed with some nana+almond butter. Holy Raw Batman, I love this new raw thing!
