I find that I am a true late night food (sweets) craver. I love my chocolate....but I have had to look for other ways to satisfy this sweet craving.
I look to protein bars and fruit mostly. I have found if we can find a healthy alternative to take away those cravings, then we can still accomplish our weight loss. We still have to watch how many protein bars we eat and how much sugary fruit we eat because otherwise you will still defeat your purpose of losing weight. I really have to limit myself on bananas and apples.
Here is a list of fruits that you should watch how much you eat because they are high in sugar.
Plus anything in syrup (ie. canned fruits, fruit cocktails)
Bananas, Dried Fruit, and Mangoes are the highest.
This does not mean do not eat them, they still have high nutritional value, but control how much you eat because they are also high in sugars. These fruits should really be somewhat avoided if you are doing a carb diet.
