Fresh Veggies & Fruits & Tips in Eating & Taking Care of Veggies

Posted Dec 18 2008 8:12pm

Please, people, don't get scared of eating veggies because of all the bad press about spinach, etc.

Basically, fresh produce offers so many, many benefits. Not only can it really can fill you up and give you important nutrients, but from a sugar perspective, it can really help ward of surges of sugar cravings.

Actually, I've lost track of the number of times I've turned to organic apples, red peppers, celery and nut butter, and even some carrots when I've wanted something sweet. Produce came to the rescue -- and saved me from all those gooey, rich, sugary foods that would send my body down a horrible path to mood swings, irritability, and brain fog.

Anyhow, here's a cool article from Nubella, with some tips on how to avoid getting sick from those nutritious fresh fruits and veggies.
