Good Afternoon! Is it really 4:00pm already? This day has flown by and has been very productive. I got a nice 50 minute run in before teaching Baby Boot Camp. This was a much needed run because the ol' scale was up this morning. I did indulge in many bites of dessert yesterday and was sort of expecting this but wouldn't it have been great to hop on the scale and have it stay the same. That is the major difference between being 30 and 41, you can't skip a beat, the metabolism is definitely slowing D O W N.
So the run helped with that little problem and I came home and did arm and ab exercises. But before all of that I started the morning off with a PB & Banana Sandwich on French Meadow Bakery Women's Bread.
With 14 grams of protein and 2.6 mg of soy isoflavones per serving, Women’s BreadTM contains key nutrients for women's health. Sprouted grains bursting with vital nutrients and vitamins are easy to digest. Dried cranberries provide an antioxidant boost.
So I don't know what is going on but I could not find Ezekiel English Muffins anywhere this weekend. They were out at Whole Foods and at H.E.B so I decided to expand my horizons and check out the French Meadow Bakery Women's Bread. This was really different and delicious. It does not have that same sort of thick and chewy consistency as the Ezekiel English Muffins but it has a great tangy taste and 14 grams of protein. That is killer and I also enjoyed the nutty flavor and dried cranberries. Excellent bread and probably a good break for me and you. Slightly different variation of my favorite PB & Banana.

Lunch was a Greek Kiwi and Raspberry Chia Bowl. I wanted something light but filling and this always does the trick.

I received a fun little package in the mail today- a free sample of Kashi Heart to Heart Oat Flakes and Wild Blueberry Clusters.

Wow! This stuff is good. I am sort of surprised that I have not picked this cereal up before. It is truly delicious and my daughter Zoe loved it! I love cereal. It is one of my favorites and I am always looking for good cereals for breakfast but mostly as my snacks and sometimes dinner. I love cereal for dinner! Anyways, Kashi has come out with another Heart to Heart flavor called Warm Cinnamon Oat and it is actually a cold cereal and I will be on the hunt for that now. I am a huge Kashi fan and my all-time favorite cereal is Kashi Go Lean Crunch... how I love thee. What are some of your favorite cereals?
I have got to tell you the Silk Heart Health Vanilla Soymilk made my snack extra good today.
