Social media is glorious precisely because it is social: it allows us to share thoughts, opinions, laughs, photos…anything you want. It also allows us to overshare, but I suppose that is in the eye of the beholder, eh? Keeps things interesting, at least.
Being that the Internet has an overwhelming amount of interestingness to gossip about enjoy, I thought I would test-run a feature that I would like to become regular here on Soap & Chocolate: a simple weekly links post. I’m calling it “Freestyle” because I am not requiring that these links be related to food/fitness/health blogs—these are anything and everything that may have caught my interest or made me laugh. Probably the latter, for the most part. I’ll try to keep it to just a handful, what for increasing the chances that someone else might actually click and enjoy too.
And with that, here’s what I’ve got!
First, an announcement with a “grain” of truth: CSN has offered me another opportunity to review a product, and after scouring their 200+ online stores for the perfect item ( end tables , espresso machines , etc.), I think I found the rice right one.
“If you do this in an email, I hate you.” Link #2 courtesy of Gena , and then many others I notice are also displaying it in their Google Chat status. It made me LOL big time. If you could print, sign and fax this blog post back to me, that would be greeeeeaaat.
“ This is why I’ll never be an adult.” This also cracked me up, all while providing a fabulous excuse for why it’s just so damn hard to “clean all the things!”
Feel free to comment and discuss if you end up checking out any of these links (or if you’d already come across them), and of course, share any others that are not to be missed!
