I am having the BEST morning! I went to grab a simple cup of coffee from Speedway and when I was done paying the cashier gave me a coupon for a FREE cup of coffee! How sweet is that? Next time I need a little boost, it’s free! Oh how I love free things, it’s people like that who make my day happy Anyways, I hope your morning is going just as good if not better than mine.
Last night, was a kickball night, so that meant eating on the run. However we did have a little bit of time so we stopped at Noodles and Companyfor a quick, healthy meal! Gregg got his usual Penne Rosa with Shrimp. I opted to get the Whole Grain Tuscan Fettuccine with Shrimp and a side garden salad. This dish usually has cream added to it, but I asked for it without it and they were very happy to do so. And look, it was a breakthrough! I actually snapped a picture of my dinner:
After dinner, we headed back to the apartment so I could make our team a drink for the game. Every week someone makes a drink for the whole team and this week was my week. I made Vodka Lime-aide and it was a hit! We ended up winning our game so we went out for a drink afterwards. By the time we got home it was 11:30 and I was hungry, so I snacked on some pretzels and called it a night.
This morning was rough though. I wasn’t hungover by any means because I only had one Miller 64, but I was tired (hence the coffee stop). For my breakfast, I made a bowl of Pumpkin Strawberry oatmeal.
This bowl totally hit the spot! Today for lunch, I am meeting up with Gregg at Whole Foods, what should I get….maybe a salad or sushi… Help me out, what do you get when you go to whole foods for lunch?
