Food for Thought: “Don’t Give Up, Don’t Ever Give Up” (20 years later)

Man how time flies.
Although Jimmy Valvano's greatest moment before 1993 might have been the NCAA Championship last second victory against Houston in 1983 (video below), he would have one even bigger.
It happened exactly 20 years ago, most sports fans will never for get former North Carolina Basketball Coach Jimmy Valvano's famous speech upon receiving the Author Ashe Award at the ESPN sports awards in 1993.
He had brain cancer at the time of that infamous speech, and within two months, he would be dead…….but not forgotten.
I may have a few struggles like everyone else, and even me "Mr. Motivated", needs a little motivation and inspiration sometimes. I know I am guilty sometimes of forgetting to many of my life's blessings, I suppose a common trait of people who have never been sick, and every now and again, I find Jimmy V's words echoing in my head.
"I urge all of you, enjoy your life, the precious moments that you have, to spend each day with some laughter and some thought, to get your emotions going, to be enthusiastic everyday………
