This book must be read by every mature member of a family. It is about food you eat for life, it is not about a diet. Very convincing ideas of healthy eating for preventive medicine.

Dr. Barnard’s book, “Food for Life” has changed my life, my blood and my weight. After reading the book, I began to faithfully follow the instructions. For the past two years, my glucose was elevated to a “pre-diabetes” level (106 mg). After only 6 weeks of eating as recommended, my blood was tested and there are no signs of pre-diabetes. I feel better, smaller meals last longer, I never feel hungry and have lost 9 pounds in about 6 weeks. Thrilled!
