Yesterday my friend Nancy Rudman brought it to my attention that this is a blue moon, because there are two full moons in the same month. The next full moon is on December 31, 2009. You know the saying, "Once in a blue moon?" My mother used to used the expression, meaning something that happened infrequently." Well, this is it, or one of them!
