Hey guys. I hate to do this to y’all again… but I’m going to be a bad, boring blogger. No pics- my computer is NOT connecting with my camera and I am way too exhausted, and possibly getting sick to think about that now.
Here’s a beginning of the week recap:
Monday.
Breakfast- Chocolate banana protein smoothie. Said good bye to the boy. Not so fun.
Slept in, went to the gym late, did LBWO+ felt pretty good.
Snack- 3/4 c Nature’s Path Mesa Sunrise + 0% chobani.
Lunch- Delicious apple sausage wrap with TJ’s apple sausage, LCL, spinach + dijon mustard.
Snack- Mini pack of skittles leftover from Halloween. Toasted Nuts n’ Cranberry Luna bar. love.
Dinner-Leftover home made vegetable thin crust pizza from Sunday’s family party. Thanks, Meg!
Snack- 0% chobani with peach. yummm.
Tuesday.
Woke up on time, contemplated sleeping all day, got up and did a lazy 22 minutes trying to do HIIT on the elliptical. Burned 141 kcals.
Breakfast- Current favorite. PB + PB on 2 pieces g-free bread.
Snack- Nut + Chocolate Luna Bar. love this kind too.
Lunch- 1/2 c lf cottage cheese with 1/2 serving Mary’s Gone Crackers, baby carrots + apple
Snack/early dinner- WHOLE GRAINS LAB. Loved it, so much fun. Some g-free, some not.
I sampled-
Corn+spelt bread (loved it- my group made it)
Black Bean tomato quinoa salad (loved this too- my group made it)
Kasha pilaf- cracked wheat. interesting.
Oatmeal scones- Cinnamon-y. Yummy.
Home made whole wheat pasta with garlic tomato sauce- AWESOME
Wheatberry waldorf salad – sweet + sour, loved this.
Vegetable barley soup- eh, alright.
Curried Millet Salad- loved the millet, hated the salad.
Favorites were def. cornbread + quinoa + wheatberry salad. Pasta + scones were top notch too.
Feasted, food coma after.
Dinner- a couple hours later I had “dinner”, just something small- Baked chicken with worcestershire, garlic + italian seasonings, sauteed spinach tossed with roasted mushrooms (threw them in with the chicken).
Dessert- Halloween candy is getting me! I’m limiting it to 1-2 pieces daily, so I get my fix but in a moderate way. Soon it will be gone! Tonight’s damage was Mini Reese’s Whipps + Take Five.
I felt sick ALL day long… body aches, headache, tiredness, tummy troubles, the works. Grabbed some tea before lab, it helped a bit. I’m sipping on mega amounts of Echinachea tea and praying I feel better after a good night’s rest.
