You've seen it in my food journals all week, but I am in love with the idea of the skinny latte from Starbucks! It gives me the freedom to have the flavored sweet stuff I crave with less calories, which I desperately needed. A month ago, I would get Starbucks about four or five times a week as an average. I would always get the grande nonfat caramel macchiato, which contains quite a bit of sugar in the vanilla syrup at the bottom and the caramel sauce (which is sometimes a bit heavy) on top.
Thus, I have downsized- I now order a double tall cinnamon dolce skinny latte. It has four fl. oz. less, uses sugar-free cinnamon dolce syrup and nonfat milk, but still has the two shots of espresso that I need to wake me up in the morning! Plus, don't you agree that it's so much more fun to say? Happy campers all around!
