Biochem exam 1- check!
THANK GOODNESS.
I was a nervous wreck this morning!
But thankfully it is over, and I can relax for… 7 days. I have my next exam (in lifecycle nutrition) next Thursday!
At least I got my workout on this morning to relax me a bit.
I switched up my HIIT, because as we all know- change is a good thing, especially in exercise. I did my thang on the elliptical today to change it up, and it went well!
Not at first though. I started trying to increase my speed, like I do on the treadmill. No good- I couldn’t control it well enough! SO I decided to switch the level instead… boy did this make a difference! I made sure I kept i between 6.5-7.5 mph the WHOLE TIME… which is hard when you’re at levels 10-15!!
HIIT 10/1 [omg... anyone else completely weired out it is OCTOBER?!?!]

1 min @ Level 15!! WOWZA, was this a thigh-burner!!
2 mins @ level 2- cooldown.
Then I showered and successfully made another batch of car oats.
They were perfecto this time- I used less water and it was perfect with the Quaker Weight Control + Protein powder.
Meal #2 was nothing special, but tasty nonetheless- a chocolate peanut butter EAS myoplex lite bar.
Eaten while stressssing about my exam the next class.
I took the exam, it went okay… we’ll see I guess.
Then I hiked in the FREEZING cold … welcome to October- the one day I decide leggings + rainbow flipflops with my flowy urban tank + gray jcrew boyfriend cardi would be a good idea it is 40 %&*(*^ degrees!!! to the library.
I pulled out my lunch and ate it while studying for my exam NEXT week. Its a vicious cycle, i’ll tell ya.
This was leftover dijon chicken with an LCL wedge in a wrap, plus some leftover green beans. Tasty leftovers!
Then I used the school computers for checking my email + reading blogs productive school-related work, made my way to Nutrition Club and headed back home.
I did a bit more work, a bit more blog reading/commenting and decided it was baking time! I had a top secret dessert planned to make for the boy when I see him tomorrow… but try #1 FAILED miserably. My fault for picking a random recipe online =/
Ah, well. Try #2 was marrrrvelous so that was good =)
I can’t reveal just yet though, you will have to wait and see!
Speaking of waiting… I got MORE good news today, and I promise it will be soon soon soon I can tell you my BIG NEWS! Less than a week, I promise!
Meal #4 was my current fall favorite…

Apple, Dark Choc AB + cottage cheese. Mmm…
Dinner was a big hunk of mahi mahi cooked in old bay from my mama, over a huge arse salad- greens, carrots, tomato, mushrooms, steamed brocc… + a lot of Texas Pete! Yum, love hot sauce =)
And I have to mention I DID have a couple tastes of baked goods. But literally like 2 bites. Testing purposes only. I am AMAZED at my self control!
I need to get to bed early, because on top of class/studying, I am driving ~3h to see the boy tomorrow after school. So no blog tomorrow night, but you can expect a big free night/morning recap from me on Sat!
Don’t forget to keep those entries coming for my TJ’s giveaway!
