Everyday Food Magazine

FYI - the January issue of Everyday Food (by Martha Stewart) is full of light recipes. If you're not familiar with this magazine, they do some great weekly menus and associated shopping lists. This month they feature a week full of restaurant quality meat and vegetable salads that look as gorgeous as tasty. I'm still not ready for a cold meal in the evening, but I'll hold onto that idea for warmer weather!

I'll be sure to check it out! I'm constantly on the run and as much as I want to be able to cook myself healthy meals regularly, the kitchen isn't really my thing, so sometimes I end up eating out more than I really should. But if I had some really easy, no-fuss recipes that would take me a shorter time to prepare, I'd probably be more likely to drag out all those unused pots and pans!

You should be checking out this magazine as soon as possible. I keep track of developments in the publishing industry and Martha Omnimedia is in REAL trouble. They keep laying folks off. They just shut down the brand new Blueprint and are chopping off heads at Martha Stewart Weddings. This magazine may not be around much longer.

Bummer, it's really quite good. Pick them up while you can and hold onto them. They are basically little cookbooks. And in case you didn't know, they are the size of a Reader's Digest. Easy to keep in the cupboard!
