“Teach a wise man, and he will be the wiser; teach a good man, and he will learn more. For the reverence and fear of God are basic to all wisdom. Knowing God results in every other kind of understanding. I, Wisdom, will make the hours of your day more profitable and the years of your life more fruitful.“ Proverbs 9:9-11
It’s never too late to learn something new or to increase your knowledge base. Part of your purpose is to gain the education needed to carry out the tasks for which God pre-ordained for you. Natural talent is wonderful, but skills that are sharpened through study can often accomplish more. There are many opportunities to gain more education and to sharpen your skills right at your fingertips. Getting a formal education is one way, however joining a mastermind group or hiring a Coach is another way to gain knowledge. Then there are books, ebooks, audios, videos, and the list can go on and on.
Bear in mind, however, the information that you learn is useless until it is put to work. I challenge you to learn something new by researching one new aspect of your job, your area of expertise, or your favorite hobby. Then, put that new knowledge to use towards God’s purpose for your life.
What is one skill that you would like to sharpen or learn? Please share your answer in the comments section below. I’d love to hear from you.
